Heather Chermak Co-owner/ Tour Guide
A wife, mother (of the cutest boy ever!) and daughter to a supportive father, comes from a family of entrepreneurs and story tellers. She left her hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada in 1995 looking for independence, a jump into adulthood and to mourn the loss of Kurt Cobain. When she arrived it was raining, she was wearing flannel and went in search for a coffee shop. She spent many years in food & beverage and event planning before stumbling upon a tour guide gig. Since then she has lead tours for the Underground Tour, Sub Seattle, Market Ghost Tours, Seattle Food Tours and Spooked in Seattle. It is a dream come true for her to continue to walk the sidewalks, telling stories about the city that stole her heart so many years ago. She likes her coffee with whiskey and her croissants with chocolate! Tours: Coffee & Pub Crawl, Seattle Kids Tour & Scenic Emerald City

Ed Tour Guide
Ed walks and cycles all over Seattle and loves showing guests the city’s hidden gems. His tours are a mix of: 1. Cultural Seattle–history, art, architecture; 2. Popular Seattle–food, coffee, recreation; 3. Eccentric Seattle–insight on the city’s slightly schizophrenic (nice to meet you, please go away) personality; and 4. Essential Seattle–happy hour. Other topics include: lifestyles of local billionaires, the invention of hardcourt bicycle polo, and where to eat the world’s strangest-looking shellfish. He believes that seeing Seattle by foot is the perfect way to get an insider’s perspective on what makes the Emerald City a place like no other.
Tours: Coffee Crawl & Scenic Emerald City
“Our out of town guests joined us for the Emerald City tour. Ed was engaging and informative with lots of fun facts and history about our city. We saw lots of hidden away treasures and learned some new things about our own city” CHandDK, tripadvisor.com
Terrilyn Tour Guide
Terrilyn has been a tour guide in Seattle since 1997. Her mother likes to tell people that “She finally gets paid to talk.” With a back ground in teaching and guiding and a love for Seattle, working for Seattle By Foot is a perfect fit. Terrilyn fell in love with Seattle upon visiting in 1996 and made the move a few weeks later. She loves the rain, the green, the water, the mountains, the rain, the city, the coffee, the beer, and the rain. Getting to take people on walks around Seattle and share her love for this beautiful place is the best job in the world. Tours: Coffee Crawl & Pub Crawl
“We did the coffee tour with Terriyn, and it was one of the best food tours I’ve been on. We didn’t just hang around the Pike Place Market but got a lesson in using Seattle’s public transportation too. Lots of coffee and lots of variety. I’d definitely recommend to coffee lovers.” Kdec_austin, tripadvisor.com
Emily was born and raised in Seattle, which is unusual. (Native Seattleites are as rare as sunbeams around here.) She likes her coffee dark and her beer darker. Emily has travelled the world and still says “Seattle is the most beautiful place” she’s ever been. She started guiding tours five years ago as a “put off getting a real job” job and fell in love with it. It’s the perfect job for someone with a love of knowledge, history, and walking. When she’s not giving tours Emily enjoys backpacking, hanging out at the library, and sampling Seattle’s superior selection of microbrews.
Tours: Coffee Crawl, Pub Crawl & Scenic Emerald City
“My 13 year old nephew and I had the pleasure of touring downtown Seattle with Emily. I volunteer for the Portland Maine Convention and Visitors Bureau and can attest that her enthusiasm was infectious. I always try to get visitors “turned on” to my city. She certainly succeeded in turning on both of us to Seattle. This is no cookie cutter tour… no canned speeches. Emily not only listened carefully to our questions, but posed a number of interesting questions to my nephew. Consider this tour an investment!” mdm8360, tripadvisor.com
Deep in the evergreen forests of the Washington foothills, lived a little girl named Jen. She lived a happy, busy little life looking after her 4 adventurous younger siblings. They were a troublesome bunch, who always kept her on the tip of her toes. Her days were filled with fort building and foraging, but late at night little Jen would look up at the stars and dream of the vast world beyond forest. She heard tales of a beautiful city, where people worked in tall buildings, commuted by ferry boat, and even recycled! They called it “The Emerald City”, and she wanted to go there. So as soon as her Mother would let her, little Jen made the long and perilous journey to the world beyond the forest. It was here in the Emerald City, where little Jen finally settled (just as she had always known she would). Jen quickly found her calling as a local preschool teacher, but during the summer months she loves to show tourists and locals alike the beautiful city she fell in love with long ago.

“Jennifer was great. Her teaching background and obvious love and understanding of kids drew in my daughter, Julia. Jennifer engaged Julia directly and spoke to her as a peer. It was just our family, so Jennifer catered the tour to us and spent extra time showing us the sites. It was the best tour choice we could have made, by far. You will get more out of this tour than a bus/duckboat tour, and your kids will remain engaged.” Spirona, tripadvor.com
