Meets at The Pike Brewing Co. by Pike Place Market
You won’t want this walking tour to end. Seattle’s beer is almost as famous as its coffee, tastes just as delicious and as fun to drink.
You’ll try local beer made on site at microbreweries, see the brewing process and learn about beer from around Seattle and around the world.
We’ll show you the city’s oldest taverns where Nirvana once played, visit a bar next to what was once the tallest building west of the Mississippi, serve a pint of Seattle’s less illustrious history (including the Mercer Girls who inspired a TV show), ride the bus in Seattle’s underground bus tunnel and wind up at one of the best Irish pubs in the country.
You pay for your beverages as you go. Taste local beers at one or all stops, maybe just enjoy an evening stroll. You decide the brand, style and amount of beer at each stop. Your choice! You don’t pay for samples you might not want.
Advance purchase is recommended, walk-ups are welcome on a first come, first serve basis. The max number on the tour is 15.
Be sure to eat before the tour. The stops at the pubs are not long enough to order food. The Pike Brewing Co. where the tour starts is perfect to dine at before the tour.
